Why Be Now?
It all started in the summer with a crazy story about how a rash turned into something more, but that's for a different day. However, it prompted me to take action. The actions started with my fitness routine, and once I got that down, I wanted to dig deeper. I wanted to ensure that what I put in my body benefited me inside and out. Therefore, I found a way to drink my nutrients and supplements that wasn't extremely difficult and didn't break the bank.

The Power of Collagen
Collagen is one of the most important and abundant protein building blocks in our bodies. It helps form connective tissues which supports the elasticity and strength that our muscles need to function. Collagen also aids in supporting the body's cartilage which protects and cushions our bones with high-impact movements and motions. "Collagen levels naturally decrease with age. The body’s collagen production slows down over time, decreasing by 1% a year beginning in early adulthood. Companies produce green powders by freeze-drying fruits and vegetables, digestive enzymes, probiotics, fiber, and extracts into a fine powder. They may add in herbs and flavors to aid in taste but are they good for you? For the most part yes! However, greens should not replace vegetable intake.
When taking greens you may experience less inflammation, increased energy, and a possibility of lowered blood pressure. However, the right product matters because greens can also reduce your risk of toxicity through heavy metals and pesticides and they could interfere with medications so always check with your doctor or pharmacist.
I do not put greens in my drink daily. It's usually once a week.

Place all ingredients into a cup and add 8-12oz of water. I blend them with a handheld coffee frother for the best blend or you can put them in a shaker cup. You can add ice if you'd like.
